The North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) invites you to join your colleagues and peers at this year’s NASAA’s 2023 Fall Annual Meeting. This premier event for securities regulators and the financial services industry will be held, September 10-12, at the InterContinental San Diego.

This year’s theme is “Modernizing Investor Protection for the Digital Age” which recognizes the visionary and vital role of state securities regulators in investor protection during an evolution in investment offerings and services.  There will be many informative and interesting panels and forum discussions along with speakers that will engage and challenge you in the vital debate over how best to transform our system of financial services regulation through sound policy and law.

The Fall Annual Meeting will feature a high-profile lineup of speakers and panelists who will examine the current securities landscape and address the future of our ever changing and rapidly evolving regulatory and professional environments. Four panel topics address modernizing investor protection, DIY investing, trends in enforcement actions, and inclusion in capital markets. There will be great opportunities to discuss important issues such as  joint web CRD/IARD, investment advisers, investor education, broker-dealers, corporation finance and enforcement in open forum discussions with NASAA Section Committees.

This year’s Fall Annual Meeting is being offered to registrants both in-person and in virtual format.

COVID-19 Recommendations and Accommodations

NASAA has updated its COVID-19-related requirements for in-person events. Attendees are no longer required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test result. NASAA strongly recommends that attendees stay up to date on their vaccinations and take a rapid test immediately before traveling to a NASAA event. If you test positive, please attend the event virtually. NASAA will make rapid tests and masks available onsite. Anyone who experiences COVID-19 symptoms or learns they have tested positive during an event will be expected to leave the meeting space and attend the event virtually.  Please note that these requirements may change depending on developments in pandemic conditions.
